The Peel Inn has been a friendly drinking hole for locals and a welcoming destination for travellers for 151 years.
Located at Nundle, 60km south-east of Tamworth. It is a "must see" village on a loop road 40km off the New England Highway. It is an ideal 3 hours drive from Newcastle.
Fifth generation publican Nathan Schofield has run the hotel with wife Rebecca for the past 12 years. William McIlveen built the hotel in 1860. Soon after John Schofield won the hotel on a handshake in a card game with a hard-to-beat hand of three Queens and two Jacks.
